The nursery is open all year round, Monday - Friday, 7 am - 4 pm, except during the Christmas holidays (Christmas to New Year), on our staff study day, and during an additional ten-day holiday period.
The monthly nursery fees comprise the fee specified by the Tagesbetreuungskostenbeteiligungsgesetz (TKBG), an additional fee of 50 € per month.
The additional fees are used for purchasing toys, books, art/craft materials, as well as cleaning services, early musical education, repairs, additional temporary staff, regular staff, birthday presents, and entrance fees for theatres, museums, and the zoo.
Maikäfer day nursery is a member of Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband - Landesverband Berlin e.V.
